LETS KEEP MUSIC ALIVE IN OUR SCHOOLS!!! I'm 44 years old, married and have one child. My Son is 24 years old and going to college. In my 20's and 30's I had several career changes. I have been in radio as a radio personality, have been a model, stage actress, extra in a few movies and I have worked in business as an Office Administrator. I HAVE HAD A BALL! I found out that I have a 2 very rare neromuscular disease when I was still very active and did not understand. I have since learned a lot about myself and life. God has helped me so much in my life. I have so much to be thankful for! I also found out in 2010 I have Type 2 Diabetes. I still work as a Stage Actress, Paint, play piano, and write poetry. I also volunteer at the Childrens Hospital, Muscular Dystrophy Association, and the American Diabetes Association when I can. It is hard to do all the things I want to but I manage...I have a quirky sense of humor that keeps me going.. Any advice I could give to anyone is: No matter what life throws at you, stay true to yourself and never give up on your dreams. Remember: If there were no risk takers in the world, the Sistine Chapel would have been painted on the floor!
